Winchester Public Schools and the Winchester Education Foundation were honored recently to host Ted Dintersmith, a well-known advocate for educational change and author of the book “What School Could Be” on a visit to the Emil and Grace Shihadeh Innovation Center. The visit came to pass after Mr. Dintersmith learned about the Innovation Center and reached out to request a visit. He was extremely impressed with the Innovation Center’s focus on careers and the free flowing schedule for students.

The Winchester Education Foundation played an instrumental role in providing financial support for the construction of this state of the art educational facility.
