The Winchester Education Foundation is thrilled to announce the election of Bruce Downing to our Board of Directors for a three-year term beginning September 10, 2025.

A long time community leader, Bruce brings a broad range of experiences to our Board. Bruce has served on the Winchester Planning Commission, the Board of Architectural Review, and the Handley Library Board. Bruce has also served as President of the Preservation of Historic Winchester organization and he is a member of the Winchester Rotary Club. These long standing connections to Winchester make him a perfect fit for our board.

As a parent of John Handley High School graduates, Bruce Downing has had a lifetime commitment to our Winchester Public Schools. The Officers and Directors of the Winchester Education Foundation are excited to welcome Bruce to the Board. The entire community will reap the benefits of his connection to Winchester Public Schools through service on our Board.
