The Winchester Education Foundation Commemorates Black History Month

The Winchester Education Foundation was on hand to present our 2024 Black History Month awards to two outstanding students at John Handley High School as part of this year’s Black History month assembly, which was presented by Handley’s Black Student Union on February 29th. The purpose of the Winchester Education Foundation’s Black History Month Award is to acknowledge students of African American heritage and invest in their future with the support of local donors who share the same desire and mission. The Winchester Education Foundation salutes this year’s honorees, Delvin Jett, and Aaliyah Robertson. Each of these students will each receive a financial support award to be used for their continuing education.
